Miles Austin, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys

Only a very small percentage of college athletes are afforded the privilege of playing professionally - especially for the Dallas Cowboys. I am living that dream and I didn't get here only because of my athletic skills. The support of my family and family of coaches has been invaluable.

But there was one other person who so positively affected my collegiate athletic career -- that is Patti Adorna. It is unusual to meet someone who so sincerely cares about an athlete (on & off the field) and yet does not have a stake in that success -- just cares about the kid.

There was never a question Patti couldn't answer. There was never a time, no matter how busy she was, that she wouldn't find a minute for each and every athlete. Patti Adorna is a person I put high on my list of those who have made my professional dream possible."

Nick Massari, Professional Baseball Player & Entrepreneur

College can be a difficult transformation for student-athletes.  The busy schedule of three or four classes a day, the two to four hour practice, and the exhausting weight training sessions.  Many of my friends at different schools dropped out or flunked out because of the pressure...but I had a great athletic advisor in Patti Adorna.  She knew when to be hard on me and when to congratulate me, but most of all, she knew how to get the most out of me.  I strongly believe that if not for Patti I would not have been able to accomplish my goal of becoming a professional baseball player and future business entrepreneur.

Patti would spend hours working with myself and my fellow teammates to make sure we would be winners on and off the field!  Of course, some needed more guidance then others...but Patti was there even after hours calling on teachers and coaches if need be.  This woman is one-of-a-kind, and I am grateful to have had her guide me in the right direction!

Stephenie LaGrossa, Survivor Palau & Survivor Guatemala

"I thought being a college transfer student-athlete was the most difficult time in my life. That was until I had truly the most difficult experience of a lifetime as a contestant {twice!!!} on Survivor Palau and Survivor Guatemala. These experiences shared one common theme -- what seemed like insurmountable obstacles. One of the primary reasons I conquered them both so successfully was because I utilized the invaluable lessons I learned from someone I lovingly refer to as "Superwoman"-- Patti Adorna.

In college it seemed impossible that Patti was as helpful to all as she was to me -- and yet she was! She was truly the queen of multi-tasking. It seemed there was nothing she didn't know and nothing she couldn't accomplish. While I was competing in the jungle on Survivor {twice!!!}, and felt like I couldn't go on, I recalled all that Patti taught me-- Go ahead and laugh & cry but then take one step at a time, do your best, never have regrets, and you will get to the finish line.

I truly envy the student-athletes who will benefit from ALL that Patti Adorna has to offer. You will not find a more competent & compassionate company than Turn 2.

Damon Wilson, Kapfenber SV Superfund , Austria

The road to college is a scary experience for all of us.  We worry about how a poor decision today could affect our entire lives tomorrow.

Don't make the mistake of trying to go it alone when you could have the help of one of the most reliable and knowledgeable people in the field.  I was so lost when I wanted to start finding colleges.

I knew  I wanted the opportunity to compete in soccer at the highest level possible.  I was overwhelmed by stress, fear and the unknown.  Then I met Patti Adorna.  Without Patti I honestly would never have made it to the level I am at today…playing professional soccer in Austria.

Patti helped me with every conceivable situation, and there were plenty of them!   Now I am living my dream at one of the highest levels possible and I have a college degree.  None of this would be possible without the help and guidance of Patti.   Finding, applying and deciding on a college is a complicated process.  Turn 2 Consulting will make these things simple.  Let Turn 2 Consulting change your life.

Corey Hallett, Professional Basketball Player

As I look back at the road I took to becoming a professional basketball player, I see several people who have had a major impact on me as a student, player and as a man.

Patti Adorna is a person who I would rank highly on this list.  No matter the question I had or the timing of my visit to her office, she was always willing to help.  Her guidance without a doubt allowed me to reach one of my major goals of obtaining my university degree.

When it was time for me to go down the road to professional athletics, the first person I turned to for help was Patti. Patti’s caring personality and relentless and principled work ethic make her one of the most trustworthy and reliable people I know.  I can promise you that you will not only be getting good service with Turn 2 but you will be getting the best service.
